Jörger Design - Authentic and exquisite designs in perfection
In the late 1960s, Gerhard Jörger laid the foundation for the brand’s design direction. He gave taps and accessories a distinctive design identity shaped by craftsmanship, innovative engineering and a clear design vision. This approach opened the company to an international perspective. During this period, classic models were created that continue to form the design foundation of Jörger Design today – among them the Aphrodite collection.
In the 1990s, Oliver Jörger, representing the fourth generation of the family, assumed creative responsibility. Collections such as Turn, Cronos, Empire Royal Crystal and Exal bear his design signature.
In the 21st century, Jörger Design continues to develop its collections entirely in-house. Design concepts, form development and refinement are created from the company’s own design expertise, without the involvement of external designers. Collections such as Valencia and Shadó carry this approach forward in a clear design language, connecting contemporary expression with lasting continuity.
Highest Quality for Exceptional Demands
Only the finest materials are used in the production of Jörger taps and accessories, all in matching design. The raw material is a high quality, specially alloyed brass, which is worked on with the most sophisticated technology, in company own workshops and „Made in Germany“.
The art of precise grinding and polishing is the guarantee for the elegant look. With the utmost care and attention, work on the surfaces is mostly done by hand. From the first step to the very last, Jörger is absolutely committed to delivering only the highest quality.
However, the most important qualitative factor is, without doubt, the human being. Our employees are highly qualified specialists, who are fully aware of and appreciate the responsibility they bear towards the high expectations of our customers. Their passion and their craftsmanship are reflected in all Jörger products. Guaranteed.
Design as cultural asset
Successfully leading a family-owned company for more than a century requires continuity and responsibility. At Jörger Design, innovative strength is passed from one generation to the next, while core values are carefully preserved. They form the foundation for the brand’s sustainable development.
Since 2019, new collections and design concepts at Jörger Design have been created through close collaboration between Oliver Jörger and Anna Mitsykh. In 2026, she assumed leadership of the company. Their joint creative work connects the brand’s established design tradition with new impulses and shapes its current direction.
Quality and design independence define the tap and accessory collections of Jörger Design. In a market of increasing interchangeability, the brand preserves its authenticity – rooted in its origin, “Made by Jörger Design.”
Jörger – Tradition and Innovation for over 100 years
Four generations have shaped the German family-owned company Jörger, whose name stands internationally for refined bathroom design. The brand’s long history is reflected in the family crest, which continues to represent continuity and a clear design ethos.
The foundation of this tradition was laid by Bernhard Jörger. As Court Master Plumber to Grand Duke Friedrich II of Baden, he equipped the bathrooms of aristocratic households at the beginning of the 20th century and was responsible for installations at Mannheim Palace. Building on this reputation, he founded the company together with his father Albert in 1909.
In 1965, Gerhard E. Jörger assumed leadership of the company and gave its development new momentum. Combining engineering expertise with a refined sense of design, he united technical precision and craftsmanship with high aesthetic standards.
With Oliver Jörger representing the fourth generation, the company gained a new design-driven dynamic. His taps shaped the contemporary perception of Jörger Design and continue to provide a solid foundation for the brand’s ongoing development.
